    Well, I could do with an SSD to upgrade my wife's PC. She keeps looking in envy at how fast my PC boots compared to hers.

    just got my package of toys. will see about upgrading later on this afternoon, given how **** my luck has been as of late i wouldnt be surprising if some of it DOA's on me.

    I assume you mean desktop?

    I have 3 tested and working SATA drives:

    80GB SATA 1.5Gbps
    80GB SATA 3Gbps (7200 rpm)
    160GB SATA 10K Velociraptor

    My E8400 is getting a bit long in the tooth, but I cannot afford a more up to date build. So a quad core cpu like a Q6600 or a Q9450 or maybe even a Xeon would be awesome! now that games are starting to need more cores.

    Lots of generosity going on in this thread :) Unfortunately, I only have a couple of things that are worth anything to offer to other bit-techers. One is a boxed 140mm Fractal Design fan and the other is a basic 4 way 5.25" fan controller in silver. They may be of use to someone :)

    Can I add one more thing to my wish list?? If so, I would like to add an 2.0+ GHz AM2 processor to said list.. because my current one is an single core (I think) 1.8 GHz and it's quite slow.

    A PCI-E Graphics Card. Any PCI-E graphics card. My Pc is BSOD'ing on me at least twice a day every day! I can't even Play Guild wars 1 with out it cutting out. its getting annoying. Sigh
