Please oh please oh please. Although I suspect a lot of team bosses will hide in the corner and weep if it turns out to be true.

    #EDIT#

According to James Allen Brawn is 'not' replacing Bernie but is going to be in charge of F1's techncial operations. I would quite like to see him re-writing the rule book on the cars.

As for Occon, Pascal Werhlein is learning the dangers of being in a back grid team for longer than five minutes first hand. Occon is benefiting from still being the hyped up sprog who hasn't finished last enough times yet.

    On a different note.

Bend over and prepare for the application of a heavy boot, Mr Vettel.

Remind me... What does the F in FIA stand for again?

It's that or it was some epic grovelling on Vettel's/Ferrari's part...

    Awww, that's no fun.

I can understand the logic though. F1 is not Football or Tennis, they're in control of a 700kg machine doing 200-ish miles per hour and attempting to hold a conversation at the same time. If tempers fray, so be it.

These conversations aren't direct either, Vettel swore at his race engineer as opposed to Charlie's face. I expect had he said that to Charlie in drivers briefing things would be different.

    Still not very fun though.

Everyone knows that Race Control can hear all the radio messages. He might not have said it directly to Whiting's face, but he certainly knew there a good chance he was listening when he said it.

Honestly, who cares about his language? You don't think athletes in other sports use bad language when on the job? People get angry and spout off, it happens.

So williams is hurting for money then?

In all seriousness, it looks like he's a pretty decent driver.

May be a little awkward if Renault were planning to offer a late contract deal to him. Id imagine they were already speaking to other drivers though.

Snooze you loose. Magnussen did warn them that he wouldn't wait until it was too late to get a drive.
I get the impression they are fishing and if they get something new, if not they'll see what they have left in a corner of the garage.
Palmer could and should look at jumping too if they don't offer him a deal. The fact they haven't nailed either driver down shows their don't rate either of them.

Supposedly Ocon has signed for FI and Haas is very likely going to be Grosjean

If there is any truth to that then it seems the real loser from the driver-go-round is Wehrlein, as his F1 options are basically stay at Manor for another year or what some would regard as a backwards move to Sauber
