Surprised Renault stick with Palmer, he's not exactly set the world alight. Also surprised to see K-Mag still around.
So that just leaves Manor and Sauber. With Nasr, Wehrlein, Ericsson and Gutierrez, and who else fighting for a seat? Gasly? Sirotkin? Lynn?
K-Mag cinfirmed, is he not? Edit, yep https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/...ssen-to-partner-grosjean-at-haas-in-2017.html
I knew K-Mag had been confirmed, didn't know RoGro had been confirmed as staying... So that just leaves Manor and Sauber without confirmed drivers- Ferrari - Vettel/Raikkonen FIndia - Perez/Ocon Haas - Magnussen/Grosjean Manor - ???/??? McHonda - Alonso/Vandoorne Mercedes - Hamilton/Rosberg Red Bull - Ricciardo/Vestappen Renault - Palmer/Hulkenberg Sauber - ???/??? Torro Rosso - Kvyat/Sainz Williams - Bottas/Stroll
pretty nasty accidents, that wing could of gone anywhere.... i think it was WAY to early for inters, and also perhaps to early for a re-start... think they will resume the race ?
There's a few hours left on the total clock, sure it'll restart at some point. It'll be more interesting to see how many laps they get in before the 2hr race clock is reached.
The only happy people will be at Sauber, first points all season long with Nasr in 6th which he can only keep without the race getting restarted properly, but the fans and the rest of the teams will be rightly pissed off.
There were definitely some moves that were essentially gifted to him because other drivers don't trust him not to force a collision. But in general, a phenomenal drive today. He's definitely got the goods. EDIT: and watching Massa walk back through the pits totally made me tear up. Dude's basically been in F1 since I've been watching (which is most of my life).
Future multi champion really. Max is something else. Just needs the team behind him to Win. Hamilton too though, never put a foot wrong. Shame about the first half of the race but I take back what I said earlier in the end it was good. I really wounder about the full wet tyres. Or just the hybrid's with lower down-force in the wet it just does not work and its not safe.
What a drive by Verstappen not knocking anything from the other drivers, but where he was finding grip was astonishing Rain Master Mk2 ?
