Depends on what the offences are... and if Maldonado is still driving... they may pre-empt it by banning him before the season starts ;)

Also worth pointing out it's not confirmed which [if any] races are on Free-to-air TV in the UK in 2014

Maldonado hasnt had a ban yet. so probably not.

What a crazy idea, he have new more complicated and comparably untested engines, lets make requirements they be more reliable then the old ones

I remember reading some time back that they'd only have one gear ratio setup for the entire season (the discussion was about whether they'd be allowed to alter final drive). Can't remember where that was, though.

PDR and Sutil out. The Hulk and Checco at FI.

If I was FI, I would be thinking good deal! :thumb:

It makes me kinda sad, as that almost definitely means that stupidface Maldonado is racing for Lotus next year.

Looks like a lot of the 'who goes where' is resting on whether Maldonado goes to Lotus or Sauber.

Maldonado says he'd prefer Lotus but he's been in talks with Sauber as well [I'd prefer he walk off into the sunset never to be seen in F1 again...]

    Now for this year!

    Vettel to dominate again
Button second (ever the optimist), Mac to unexpectedly win that elusive constructors as Magnussen stomps all over Ricciardo's head
Mercedes in minor chaos as Lauda/Wolff fight each other and Paddy is stuck in the middle
Ferrari in full blown civil war, one or both drivers gone by the end of the year
Lotus to slide back steadily, to Grosjean's enormous frustration, Grosjean to one of the top three for 2015
Williams suddenly at the front of the Midfield with Massa/Bottas as a tag team of awesome
FI to field Perez and Hulkenberg, both to do great impressions of Sutil/PdR and go sports car racing later
Chilton in a Marussia again and surprisingly not awful

Ideally either someone other then Vettel wins the title, or someone keeps him honest like Alonso did the last season. Newey cars tend to be no compromise so maybe it will take them a few races (4-6) for them to get the package dialled in. But it is hard to see someone really trumping Newey/Vettel.

McLaren, would be nice to see them back on the podium, but I doubt they will get much help from Merc next year, maybe wet wins will be on the cards for Button at best. But are they keeping the new suspension system that was a disaster this year? Hope they do better this time, but in the engine department they may as well be on gardening leave. Looking forward to 2015 for the return of McLaren Honda.

Vettel wins again, not domination though until 2H of the season. More 2010 than 2013.
Dr Marko hands Riccadro a gimp suit to wear from day 1.
Button will be beaten by the Swede, and Macca will again be a mid-field team, albiet this time competing with Lotus, Williams. They will stay there until Shitmarsh goes. Macca don't renew Button's contract in 2015, UNLESS Button gets Honda money. He is a celeb in Japan.
Merc will start strong but flounder as management issues take shape. Lewis will get increasingly pissy about it as season evolves, and eventually Wolff will be pushed out or technical Paddy takes off. Lauda ain't going nowhere.
Ferrari in full-blown melt down from race 2. LDMZ has a heart attack brought on by stress, while Alonso throws a Spanish tantrum worthy of the magnitude of their deficit and Kimi calls it quits again/is shown the door. Alonso takes his money to Macca in Button's place.
Grosjean gets a drive at Ferrari in 2015, but only if Kimi leaves Ferrari. As he's cheaper, Gro gets the drive.
Sauber, god knows. Good team work, but do they have the money to continue development and drivers to compete?
FI have good/great drivers, but **** all talent in the design department and no money, so they only challenge Sauber for the lower places still. Hulk drives the wheels off it, occasionally showing brilliance, while Perez occasionally throws it into the wall. He becomes the new Sutil: quite good but instantly forgettable against the Hulk.

    My predictions:

At least 1 of the 3 engine makers will have horrible reliability issues
People will still be whining about Pirelli's tyres
Someone will have found a rules loophole, and the other teams will bitch about it and try and have it banned [until they can exploit it themselves]
Ricciardo will be average at best in the Red Bull
Merc will implode to some extent if Brawn leaves... Hamilton will go cry in the corner...
Bets will be taken up and down the pit-lane on the likelihood [and outcome] of a punch-up between Kimi and Alonso, Domenicali has a breakdown trying to control them both.
