We need a season of no pit-stops for tires, worked to stop Schumacher anyway

They did that before (just allowing refueling though) and it was pants, apart from seeing Kimi's suspension explode. :eeek:

    Forgot one:

The 2014 McLaren is pants, Whitmarsh says 'We're waiting for 2015', '2015 will be better' etc. general consensus is Jenson Button's beard would do a better job as Team Principal.

In my dreams: Ross Brawn signs on as Mclaren Team Principle for 2014-16, Martin Whitmarsh moves to road car division, as catering manager.

Quick note, updated the 2014 calendar from the FIA's proposed one to what we're likely to actually get...

Final race in Abu Dhabi? Meh...

If they want F1 to be 'green' they would be minimising the distance between each race. The air-travel CO2 cost from just one hop would be worth a whole season's racing.

Final race in Abu-yawnfest is very sad. :(

Hmmm i dont think REDBULL Vettel will dominate this year what with all the changes going on. With having to use this new smaller engine and twice as much power from the kers for 33 seconds per lap plus all the othe changes we are going to see a big shakeup within the top teams.:)

I've got to say one thing I DO like about 33s of more powerful KERS is that hopefully it will be used in conjunction with less DRS to emphasise on driver quality: to know what to use, when to use it for maximum effect + placing the car in the right spot etc.

It'll be interesting to see how the teams/drivers/cars react should the ERS break/stop working...

Drivers have been able to cope with not having KERS, but 33s of 161bhp is not something you'll want to be without... [esp as 33s worth amounts to ~1/3 of the lap in a lot of places]

I expect they'll just retire and take the gearbox/engine/ERS rebuild. a car that's down 25% on power will go backwards anyway, so no point straining the engine for no points.

I'm waiting with baited breath for what Marussia do next year, with the Cosworth brick gone they stand to stomp all over Caterham.

Didn't the interview with Graeme Lowdon on Sky Sports mention they've got Mercedes power next year?

2013 is the last year for Cosworth, they aren't making a 2014 spec engine. Marussia were the only team using Cosworth in 2013

Ahhh I remember thinking "that'll give them some much needed grunt!".

So is it Williams that will be getting Mercedes then?
