So now that they've taken all his money they've kicked him out the door. I hope Lotterer crashes (repeatedly) and I hope Caterham go bust, that's really low even for the back of the grid pay-mobiles. Makes it pretty clear how bad their financial state is though, if they're firing the better driver mid season to make way for a richer one.
But wait... there's more... Chilton replaced with Rossi... 'while contractual issues are resolved' = 'The wallet behind Chilton hasn't paid up' [imo]
So next step is the drivers sitting in the fan carpark begging for money in order to race the weekend?
Maldonado and Lotterer out alread, cue a sarcastic 'Maldonado? In an Accident? No....' from the BBC commentary team...
Well deserved booing for him. I personally hope that his car will break down in each and every race from now on. I would rather see rather see Vettel winning it again than Rosberg after what is Rosberg doing this season.
Ricciardo in a Red Bull that they could barely get started in pre season testing picks up the vacant top spot for the third time this season and is now only 35 points behind Hamilton in the championship... So what on earth is going on at Williams / Ferrari / McLaren / Force India that they are never there to pick up the scraps?
Mercedes sounded pissed in the 2 interviews they have given. Lewis interview he seemed pretty calm about it which was suprising. Nico was stupid never had a chance of the pass and was pretty shocked he escaped a penalty, in the past they have given penaltys for less. Think Magnuson and Vettal could get respective punishments, Magnuson for some strange defensive driving, Vettal for his constant track limit abuse. Drivers title looks over 29 points is a huge gap when your guarenteed podium every race if the car is realiable. Monza next stranger things have happened.
http://www1.skysports.com/f1/report...essed-to-deliberately-crashing-into-him-at-sp If this is true Nico is in huge trouble, FIA should remove him from the championship. Shocking behavoir if you true.
Well that's certainly an interesting read. Will be even more interesting to see what comes of it. Sam
Mercedes have come out and confirmed that Hamilton's quotes are an accurate representation of what was said by Rosberg. But they have added that they believe he was suggesting he was proving a point by not backing out of the move, rather than deliberately colliding. Which doesn't sound that massive a distinction tbh.
Racing incident, the rest is ********. The drivers want less penalties; hence not even investigated by the stewards. The race with hindsight would have been a procession otherwise. Should we be thanking Nico? Absolutely not. Poor form from an experienced driver. Was there any malice? Doubt it. Nico couldn't have possibly known the outcome of Hamilton's tyres. Instead of indulging in this nonsense, Hamilton should channel his emotion into sorting out his qualifying form. 29 points is not insurmountable, especially with the (frankly ridiculous) double points on the cards.
