Metro: Last Light I cannot believe how good this game is! They took 2033 and improved it. I've still got to finish it, so I'm praying the ending doesn't go all Mass Effect 3 on me. Click on images for UHD.
I never got around to playing 2033 but I don't need to now there's a frame by frame run down of the game
Metro: Last Light Ha! Trust me, there were many, many more screenshots that were culled. I would urge you to play both the Metro games - they are brilliant. Anyhoo, I've completed Last Light. Definitely the best game I have played in recent years.
May need to go Specsavers! Although it is starting to show it's age, it still looks and plays awesome!
Did you play it on ultra or near max settings? It was the first game that really made me sit up and realize what graphics could be like and it's to blame for starting me on the never ending upgrade journey I can clearly remember standing in a wooded area of Crysis and noticing the moving dappled shadows of the trees moving on the ground and the sun flashing through the branches and trying to comprehend how much data was being moved around to build those images, it was a real blast of realism and game immersion and that's when I knew I needed a better PC let alone a better GPU. I recently bought a MSI GTX 780 OC so I can play Skyrim with a frame killer ENB mod plus 60 other mods and when I can leave Skyrim alone for a while I intend to play Crysis again on ultra just to see it in all it's glory and remind me where all the madness started
I've crop some images as some of the extra width was pointless, and re-sized them all at least 50% of what they originally were! But to show how truly awesome triple monitors are, these screenshots just look epic! Original resolution was 5960x1080 (Bezel management) Enjoy!
Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 I assume you've played it at maximum possible settings? There are some parts that have aged a little (internal environments aren't on par with the external). Installing a high res texture pack definitely helps. I like to fire it up now and then for a few hours. I'm also amazed that we managed to get to this many pages without Crysis screenshots! Umbra did post some Crysis 2 and 3 ones however. Speaking of which, I'd love to see the original Crysis and Warhead redone in the latest Cryengine iteration. Only 5 pics per post Si (see the first post for guidelines)! I find your pics interesting as they're the first surround gaming pics in the thread. I'll give you my honest opinion: I find the additional view angle a bit redundant as the main action is only usually happening on the centre screen. Back on topic, I finished the second Burial at Sea episode. Brilliant! Games like this and Metro: Last Light restore my faith in modern gaming. Click on images for UHD:
Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 Last lot (I know I have a habit of screenshotting a game to death)! Click on images for higher resolution.
I did read the OP, but rather than post 3 times, one after the other, it would still take as long to load the thread anyway. Anyway, I've been playing around with the lighting in the Original Crysis, and these are my results.
Shadow Warrior (2013) Another game finished. A solid 7/10 game - great for a little fun every now and then. I tried to get some screens during combat but the game is quite intense! Click on images for UHD.
Crysis (with Crysis Expanded MOD) I've been meaning to do this for a while now. I apologise, but there's going to be quite a few more, lets say 5 per level (ignoring the VTOL level). I've got to say, deactivating the enemy AI and just having a wander around Crysis has been one of the more mesmorising experiences I've had. For the first level alone I took over 200 screenshots - of which my personal top five are shown below. So, without further ado: Level: Contact Click on images for UHD.
Wow, nice textures. Where did you get the tex replacements? I can't seem to find a high-res pack for crysis.
