Warp Prism is most exciting for me; I really love it when pros do creative stuff with them.
Rax nerf seems a bit random, just throws a lot of existing timings off. I don't really see the point in slightly messing up every build for a race. Imo, there are better ways to nerf something that was OP (though I really don't know what it's aimed at).
Not sure if the BFH nerf will go through as strongly as they've outlined. Will anyone use em with a damage increase of only 5?

 

Immortals always should be used by any decent toss player, warp prism's buff is needed as it will aid there tactical advantage.

 

Will be alot easier to position immortals vs terran now. And the stupidly good 111 push might be able to be stopped now with immortals doing more than a couple of shots.

Wapr Prism is a great buff. Needed it, we toss have very little harass capability. And whilst they are good now they just die to quick. Storm drops here we come

Rax change......I dont think its a good idea but I also think that terran is just to strong with some of those cheesy strats. Its not that they are OP, its just the vast variety of strong early builds they can do that with one small misread or mistake cost you the game.

Also on say Xel Naga. if T dont wall off sometimes ill rush a zealot b4 core (with 2 more zealots thena stalker) and walk it over to there base. Without good micro they cant hold it off. Give me 5 moer seconds b4 the rax is done and well that is going to be almost unstopable. (Without a wall off obviously)

Infestor change is good. They didnt over do it. I think infestors still strong, but just reduces the crazy dps they have now on top of stun. I still think the energy upgrade should go, like the HT one was. FG does all damage when it lands + Hold, Ghost do instant energy and sheild damage. HT have storm & do 80 damage IF u sit under it. You move it does hardly any of that, and we dont get a energy upgrade now like ghosts and infestors. (Warping in storm was OP. Not asking for energy upgrade back. Just think T have learned to use ghosts and infestor play is now so good. Really not sure how to fix this.

What i was surprised by, was no bunker change!!!

Blink change wasnt needed.

Sight up ramp will be good.

Why do opposing players concede games after 2 minutes without building anything? I keep getting free wins lately!

 

Just got 6pooled as protos. I hate moving onto a new race.

 

Some people do this in order to drop down to a lower league so they are matched against weaker opponents.

 

6 pool is easy enough to stop, scout it first or if u do see it wall of ure ramp leaving a single entry point with a cb zelot out to hold the position. Or if you're confident let the lings into ure base and kill them.

Protoss is very weak atm, compared to the other two races which can roll on over toss. When Blizzard listents to the korean's who have been discussing the need for toss to be improved as its very weak against terran and zerg. Terran is overpowered at the moment, as can be seen in most major tounraments and world rankings.

I like how you shortened them up to toss.. it sounds like some sort of salad.. they already got an expansion ready huh

 

The patch has been interesting, brings toss back to a competive level though it will take time to see how well the changes effect each race.

True but it allows the creative players to use warp prims/ motherships and better use of immortals.

More still needs to be done to improve toss though watching the pros at ign its interesting to see how they do against t and z. Huk already played, wathcing MC atm and White Ra to come up on friday before the main tourney on sat/sun.

 

All I ment, is the top top top protoss's like, MC, HuK, WhiteRa like you mention, are all struggling! They don't really have much they can do to stop much at the mo'!

 

Just started playing sc2. 3rd game ever was a protoss (me) vs zerg where the guy built nothing but queens and creep tumors. Got been because he managed to build a single muta that destroyed all of my immortals and zealots

Thinking about uploading the replay if people want to see it. I played HORRIBLY badly though.

I know, but I still feel slightly ashamed. I just watched the replay and I was all over the place. Need to work on my micro and remember to play attention to the minimap

 

NO! You're trying. BE PROUD that you've learned another way not to win. Be STRONG!

 

Anyone can take a fps and manage to kill someone in the first try but SC2 and many other RTS games takes some practice.

but remember macro is more important than micro.

I would love to take you for a few rounds but I am currently sitting in Macau on a laptop that shrugs at anything more demanding than Chess. no games for me until mid January XD And by that time I am going to be so bad at it again that I might lose to a few mutas.

The single muta just surprised me as it takes forever for a muta to kill an immortal or zealot, just ignore it an attack, make a sentry or two in the meantime.

 

unfortunately there was a bit of a base race. I won with the most units, but he had enough stored cash to build a new hatch and spit out about 10 mutas (which makes me feel a LOAD better than being beaten by one ) while I had no cash at all
