Windows THE bit-tech StarCraft 2 thread

Quoting myself to confirm that I am indeed able to play it with all settings on low and the music off on the following:
AMD64 4000
1GB RAM
XFX GeForce 7800GTX

When I tried to install, it warned me that my processor was below the minimum spec but so far I've had no trouble with the single player campaign.
I've not tried any of the other options for single player or multi player yet, I really doubt that it will handle any of that so I'll just wait until I put together my new PC.

You have to save 3 colonies if you want the achievement.

 

Anyone tried out the Challenge Missions?

Fairly easy to get the bronze awards, but $#%@ing hard to get anything higher!

So far iv'e got 1 gold, 2 silver, and the rest bronze!

Bought a hard copy in my local smyths.

 

The challenge missions were pretty fun, they are actually pretty good training for ladder. Just keep going for all gold as you'll improve your ladder skills and get a pretty awesome spectre portrait.

I played a few games with mates tonight. It was quite intense with the seven of us on teamspeak, playing a 2v2v3

 

Just finished the brutal campaign.

My face hurts.

 

Finished last night and I knew what was going to happen. Oh well. Time to do it all again lol.

 

If that's true - has anyone tried multiple monitor?

 

Anyone play ranked league games? and if so, what league type (bronze, silver, etc) and rank?

Just want to find out for interest sake. See what skills people have.

Currently i'm ranked 65th Silver for 1v1, and 2v2 is still in placement (last match 2nite hopefully), but should go mid silver as well. Only play Zerg.

Anyone else?

 

Aw, it's Bioshock all over again, except this hasn't been fixed in the first week...

 

I'm playing mostly with my friends and brother for fun, not really into that semi-competitive multiplaying atm. TBH haven't even ploughed through the 50 pre-ranking games yet, though I've tried a few games, with mixed success.

+ the ongoing heatwave is seriously taxing the time I want to spend next to my computer.
