They have licened another 2 films.

Saw it a few days ago with some girlies. They were jumping and screaming throughout the whole film. I thought it was good, but mabey a little violent to be a 12a.

You're probably right. Although I doubt Greengrass would be on board unless it was an especially incredible screenplay given to work with. He doesn't wanna get typecast as 'that guy that only does Bourne films' along with 'that dude that only uses shakeycam'.

Sorry to revive a dead thread... but I watched Bourne Ultimatum again last night on DVD. My god, I forgot how awesome the film was - I knew what was coming, when... so it was constantly "OMG this next bit is awesome", it happens, then I remember there's something even more awesome about to happen.

Rocking film with so many great moments. It's possibly better on a second watch through, as you remember what happened and sit in awe of the awesomeness while it unfolds.

i watched the whole trilogy a couple of days ago (for the nth time, but first time in HD) and i know exactly what you mean. while they are suspenseful films, that's not what's fun about them. the fun is just in the sheer absurdity of the stunts and schemes and in the pace of the films.

The bourne series is awesome, but i'd say #2 is my favourite. and #1 2nd best. #3 was very good too, but it didn't have as much wow factor as the other two gave me, it was sort of like more of the same sort of thing as #2.
There were a couple of moments where the camera needed to stay still, but no biggie, it's good to just try and forget that there is a camera when watching movies or even a photo, and think that you are there, watching with your own eyes. When the cameraman hasn't made it easy to forget about him, you just try harder, pay more attention to what's going on in the scene.

Likewise. It's funny you should zombiefy this thread, Tim, I bought the 3rd Bourne film at the market the other day and have been meaning to watch it...

I seem to remember some awesome parkour chase scenes in a south american country, I'm looking forward to those.

Nope, thankfully not (though the last two bonds have made attempts at it). It's not as long as I remembered, just when Bourne is escaping the police and chasing the agent in madrid (?). Jumping between buildings and through windows and such. It's absoutely awesome :D

I think Ultimatum has more storyline going for it than the second one did.
