Xbox 360 The Call of Duty 4 Thread WARNING SPOILERS

So everyone first impressions?
Honestly i hink best feeling game i played in long time, some of the battles are very intense, i playin it on harder setting to make it last longer ha! Best battle so far i thought was tv station raid, haah im takin my time goin through levels lol no survivours!

 

The ship mission at the beginning was an awesome start to the game. I was starting to feel a little sea-sick with the screen rolling like it was.

 

I was playing this most of last night intead of doing dissertation work, it was so worth it! This game is awesome! The sniping mission in chernobyl was sweeeet!

 

Damn nukes.

 

OK I'm playing this on the PC with the rig in my sig.

What can I say other than SPEEEEECHLESSS.......drools!

Stunning in every way

 

Arcade mode Cheesecake!! Really started getting in to this towards the end. Had the urge to start shouting "GO GO GOOO" etc. Good times.

 

thats sniping mission hard enough, i fet the gunship missionwent on to lonfg i was bored by end of it

 

i love call of duty, one of my favorite pc games, especaially online... call of duty 4 is awsome!

 

Didn't see this thread until now. I have played the demo so many times, they really are intense, and really immersive. On goes that on my Christmas list. I was playing it on PC, and, while not having the most amazing rig in the world, it still looked stunning.

 

It is awesome. I completed it last night. Very good game. They have added a lot more cinematic bits which were brilliant.

 

Does it not make you laugh out loud when you see the bit-tech homepage and there is a laser coming out from the red dot scope on the rifle? What were the artists thinking?!

 

not really. I think it looks cool. Which (correct me if I'm wrong here) is the point.

That mission actually, the sniping one, is awesome. I love that kind of gameplay.

 

this is easily the best modern era shooter ive ever played. better than any battlefield game, better than ghost recon or any other one. everything they did with the game seems perfect. i love how it rewards you for aiming down your sights instead of running around like a retard jupimg and shooting people.

one thing i dont really care for tho is the perks thing. its neat but can be annoying as then it harder to kill certain people.

but this game is such a fast paced game yet its also slow paced. you can play anyway you want and still own if youre good.

 

Just finished this on the PC, Thought it was very good deserved higher scores tbh.

Btw if you finish it leave the credits roll to the very end you`ll not be disappointed.

 

i just played this in mp and it tried to blow my computer up. 90-100% on both cores of an E6600 @ 2.9 and over 80% of 2gb ram used

Bit odd as it ran fine in sp and im using the same settings.

 

i love that one super tiny map. the one with the metal crates you can go in. i was playin HQ there and was using the M4 w/ red dot but couldn't kill guys fast enough. so i pulled out the MP5 w/ red dot and just owning everyone getting airstrikes and helicopters. i even got a kill streak of somewhere around 20-22 kills when we had captured the HQ and they tried to destroy it and i was in a crate owning them. lol i ended in 1st of course with i think 513 points. i got 68 kills and 18 deaths. that was alot of fun.

 

Having beaten CoD, UO and CoD2 on Veteran with dying only once (CoD only, was eating pizza ) or not at all, I told myself, HAH, piece of cake. First level went ok.. then it went downhill from there, just kept dying and dying and dying and dying and dying,.. Amazing game though! I love it to bits, haven't finished the campaigns yet, I just finished the mission where you're in the big place shooting people from the sky (thought that mission was so freakin cool , though the boat one was an amazing intro mission), now I gotta escort the tank to safety and boy am I getting hammered

Wish there was co-op available, but ah well

 

The trick is not to make any stupid movements - move from cover to cover and be careful about who you expose yourself to. Finished the game on Friday and it's honestly one of the best games I've ever played, definately top-10 league stuff. I love it.

 

Just tried MP.. That small square map with the containers is freakin crazy! Love it all!

 

how easy is multiplayer??? i hope its becasue people are still trying get used to maps etc

but after 3hrs play im a gunnery sergant already!
