Irrespective Oxford/AstraZeneca still stands as by a large margin the most affordable, and that presumably continues down the line due to it's ease of transport/handling.
You mean the world's largest unified trading bloc was able to negotiate a better deal than we were? Why oh why is everything about Brexit these days.
Another great example of our countryman's dedication to protecting others https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19...-being-forced-into-quarantine-report-12173958
I know someone who spoke to a work mate, they were tested positive over the christmas period. My response was that'll be a lot of staff off work then as they'll all have been in contact with them. Response I received was that they've had people working in store who have tested positive before and carried on as normal. Even more icing on the cake - this is in a retail environment of a large wholesaler.
Even testing doesn't seem to be straightforward. A local friend emailed yesterday to say that she's been in bed ill since Boxing day an thinks is may be Covid. The 2 tests she's had at home have been positive and the 1 at hospital was negative... She's waiting for a second hospital test to see what's up
Tier 4 for more places including the NE. Not entirely sure why it's just not a blanket countrywide thing besides saving political face over not having another national lockdown. Can't say it'll affect us any more. We only go out for essentials, for a walk in the woods and you can still meet up with one other person outside. Oh and you can still fly in and just get told to not go spreading it. That has been the dumbest thing all along.
It seems odd that it's not just a nation wide lockdown now - the government approach seems to be to wait until it's already gotten a grip then roll out tougher restrictions, rather than get in front of the problem
Because Sunak won't put hand to wallet and pay/compensate people staying home and Boris wants to avoid negative press. It's really as simple as that. ...and then end the restrictions too early and act shot when things go south again.
Ah apparently BoJo thinks he did great with the tiers but that was on 'old' Covid. This 'new' Covid is the problem not him. He's such a vacuous gobshite.
Bradford's staying Tier 3, apparently, with most of Yorkshire in Tier 3 as well. Things have obviously improved since we topped the charts - or just got that much worse elsewhere!
