Interesting. I was rewatching yesterday (for the umpteenth time) Charlie Brooker's end of year wipes and in one of them he was talking about nostalgia and how in reality the 70s and 80s were utterly sh!te compared to modern times. I was born in '84, so wouldn't know (though have a strange draw to 80s music...).

It would be a fitting way for Trump to end his presidency. I suspect if they were to get their wish it would be the beginning of the end of gun ownership in the US as PDs would rapidly stop tolerating the presence of guns in public at all ever, which probably isn't what they're hoping for.
