 Ok, circle cut in top of case...
    hemisphere with ball bearings...
light in the bottom shining up through the globe :D

If you could have slots cut under it, then ducted a fan so there was air coming out from under the globe... mmmmmm :)

I wonder how far I'd have to go to find a few of those suckers...
How much did that cost you?

Okay, this is general discussion, not modding! hehe j/k! It's always the right time/place for modding!

I'm thinking some sort of water pump is going to be running through some tubes beneath the ball in a water tight hemisphere, using the cool air to cool the water for the water cooling system... cool, huh? (making the ball spin in place, with color changing superbright LEDs depending on HDD activitiy, of course)

oOH better yet! Make the orb glow warmer and warmer colours as you use up more and more processing power!

I'd click a link to see somethink like that! (my broke version of "I'd pay money...")

Oh, my question for the all knowing ball that has chosen Linear as it's owner (and wisely, if I do say so) is "Will I complete my Computer Engineering degree, or was my advisor right?"

    Dear Crystal Ball,

I'm currently doing approximately 70Mph down the M6 in the middle lane. I'm 27.

I am approaching my turn off which is around 3/4 mile away and I'm not sure if I should go around the two slower cars in front of me and cut inside or slow down and fall between the car and lorry in the inside lane.

Please help me, I'm at my wits end.

The ball says: "In fact for all things there is a time for going ahead, and a time for following behind*"... Don't get hung up on artificial time constraints. Sometimes altering your time scale will allow you to reach the goal you thought eluded you...

In short, this is a warning to not break your balls.

So the ball says "woah.. don't worry, you are just a little slow, that's all..."
