Cooling the death of a waterpump

    may i jsut ask the forums for a few minutes scilence to morn the passing of my waterpump, pulled from an old washing machine it ran near enough scilent for 6 months before finally giving up the ghost so its back to aircooling until i can get a new pump

    OK, that was enough silence :D

    And I would suggest to get a Eheim as your new pump.

    yep it died of natural causes, (i kno as if my dog would ahve had a go at it [its happened before shens a not a big fant of watercooling, she prefers my fans lays next to my ig ona cold day] i looked at it & i jsut burnt out, not bad considering a pulled it out of my mothers old washing machine & the pump was already over 12 years old, its the only pump i found that had enough grunt to pus the water through my rig, very high resistance 4m of copper pipe, 1 landrover series III radiator, graphics, chipset & cpu blocks so it wasent bad cosidering it was scrap, jsut have to have a workd with my mates dad who owns a washer repair company to get a reconditioned one 4 nought

    you dont have a very big family do you, out current washing machine hardly gets a break (simply cos all cousins are too cheap to buy there own & do there washing at my mums)
