Sunderland vs Newcastle today. Tyne Wear derby. Judging by the picture and his forum name, I take it he's a Newcastle fan.

 

I don't think it's possible for me to be less interested in anything

Still, I know we have a lot of members from Newcastle so I suppose the thread is relevant to some people's interests

In fairness to Knuck, Ice hockey is quite badass. Look at Maurice Richard, for instance.

Well i am a die hard TOON fan, but at the end of the day Newcastle got what they deserved.

We had most of the possession but we stood back when they ran at us, this was one hell of a poor performance by Newcastle. and the troubles after the game were shameful.

Although it pains me to say it the 2nd and 3rd goals were quality

In Canada and America it is known as hockey. In the rest of the world it's Ice Hockey. Real Hockey pre-dates Ice Hockey, so it's hardly a hack.

Americans and the like also call football "soccer" because they have their own sport they call football; which the rest of the world knows as "Fisher Price Rugby".
