It was great to be part of the original team and help to make Bit-Tech what it became. Although not being active for some time I was excited and pleased to see the site develop and proud to have been a part of it. I am sorry to see it disappear along with Hexus. I congratulate all of the team members through the years for their hard work and dedication in helping make the site a great community.

Very sad to hear this. I remember I found out about the forums when I was chatting to the sales rep in Maplin (Uxbridge) as I was buying some variable resistors to make my own fan controller. Circa 2003!

WTF? I go away for a few months and BT disappears? Glad the forum is staying around, I got migrated here from Custom PC when that forum bit the dust.

Ok this year's been odd, I mean Usain Bolt is advertising printers FFS. My head can't take no more.

    Such is life.

I don't think Usain Bolt is without blame though.

Think he'll take the blame for United's season as well?

    Sorry, @MLyons, just had to.

It was an interesting journey, but I'm glad to be embarking on a new one.

To my own surprise, I completely agree with that sentiment. I'm still committed to the hilt to this forum but that's easy for me to say, because all I have to do is turn up and chat **** occasionally. I wouldn't expect all the historical staff and contributors to linger indefinitely; I don't think it does to overcommit to a project at the expense of your own growth.

Nick would not have made it to the second round of Squid Game.

Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.

I know of at least one way to avoid growing old, I'm not recommending it however.

I like to ignore the mundanity of adulthood as much as life allows.

It's the only way I convince myself I'm moderately sane.

Just the bone marrow. Gotta get them stem cells while they're fresh.
