I thought of this game a while ago whilst observing some very interesting and picturesque weather phenomena. I think it could prove more interesting than the usual photo game (treasure hunt thread) we play. Rules (the code is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules ) Post photographs. The higher resolution the better. No ludicrous Photoshops! If you can submit your own photo of the current subject, even better. Where possible, please credit all image owners. More than one photo of a current subject may be posted, but keep it to one submission per person. Whoever chose that subject may pick the winner. Whoever is picked as having made the successful submission gets to pick the next topic. If that person leaves the thread for too long, the owner of another relevant but unpicked submission may choose the next subject. Keep it interesting! Don't ask for the usual Internet nonsense that everyone has seen one hundred times before, like a crab smoking a cigarette or a monkey riding a bear. No memes. This is not the Demote thread. No Gifs. This is not the Gif thread. No nudes. This is not 4chan. As well as the above, please ensure all submissions adhere to the rest of the forum rules. I think that about covers it! I'll start: Find me a photo of a localized downpour in an otherwise clear sky; I had an opportunity to photograph such an event a few days ago but it was late in the evening, so the light was poor and I didn't have any fast lenses with me at the time.
