Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you need a pro Flickr account to host and share mahoosive images? In any case, those who have Flickr are welcome to use it. ;)

And am I right in thinking that the 50mm f/1.8D is Nikons "nifty fifty"? If so, what a lens... my nifty is a bit soft on the left side.

I'd love to see some full res pics from the D700.

I'm currently a D300 user and I'm looking to upgrade to a full frame FX sensor. I'm struggling to decide whether or not I can justify the larger price tag of the D800 over that of the D700.

There's no reason to get a D700 now other than to save money. If you can afford the D800, get it lol. :)

I thought this was for un-cropped full resolution images to show off technical quality? I'm assuming that's a stitched pano with the subs taken in portrait?

Love the D2x image - lower resolution can go a long way if the IQ is there.

Wow I didn't realise that - I always assumed the Nikon single number bodies were all FX same as Canon's 1 series. :eeek:

    Nope.... it's a crop sensor.

If it doesn't count mods can pull it :), all my full res shots aren't safe for bit-tech.
