Yeah i heard some european articles already talking about future productions they were compaing ideas and such heres some i remember... 1.512 bit memory interface 2.512 megabyte DDR?GDDR3 3.16 pixel pipelines thats about it but notice these predictions are for late 2005 too 2006 though i forgot where i read this at .
1. 512MB, they're already out... http://3dlabs.com They won't become midrange cards for probably 5-10+ years, any game now can run off of a 128MB card, even half life 2 (when it comes out), so 256 isn't even needed right now 2. 512bit... 256Bit will last a while, maybe some bleeding edge cards in the next year or two might dev 512bit, but it's definitely not standard and probably wont be for a long arse time 3. 16 Pipes? Man, are these people on drugs? Watercooling is going to need to be standardized x.x 9800XT will last probably two years before it becomes a low-end card.. and it has 8pipes, it'll be a while before they intro 16pipes (if they ever do) to even midrange cards, because most midrange's still only have 4 (9600xt, 9800se) Don't ask me about nvidia.. because I know absolutely nothing about nvidia cards, I consider the 9700PRO a high end card because it costs in the ballpark of a 9800pro (30 US Dollar difference from a 9700pro to a 9800pro on newegg)
