    As a complete and utter wifi luddite, I'm not entirely sure what the fuss is about, but its not like I go anywhere anyhow :duh: :blah:

    Edit add : I do worry slightly about all this extra radiation going into the air all over the place though.

    Always makes me smile when people say that :D

    We've been bombarded with wideband radiation from the sun, cosmic rays, gamma and x-ray sources in the earth etc. since the dawn of time and it hasn't done us any harm, has it? Data communications are of a MUCH lower intensity than all this naturally occurring radiation. It seems that the fact that they are man-made spooks people.

    The word 'radiation' has very negative connotations for some reason. I once had a neighbour who bought a microwave then refused to use it (and was shocked when anyone said they used theirs) because it 'makes your food radioactive'. I mean, really!

    some people are just uneducated it would seem, but then again some radiation that is man made can cause us harm (mobile phones -- kinda) so meh :S
