I've been Talking about playing through Half-life again for ages. I have 4 days off work, I have the Flu and my missus has gone to see her family for the week... No excuse to not play it then .... Just got to the Lamda complex and I'm so hooked I'm thinking... lets go the distance. So when Im done here ill fire up 'Opposing Force' and maybe then 'Blue shift'... IF there is time I may start HL2. ...You could say I'm snowed under.
Currently making my way through HL2 again, just started Ep1 last night. I actually forgot how awesome games they are. Trying to do the "The one free bullet" on Episode 1, harder that I imagined.
@NaloaC: I'm so angry at HL2E2 . I have only 2 achievements to go from HL2 series, but i just can't do it again - Get some grub and Neighborhood Watch. I missed one damn grub when i last tried to do it, and that made me so sick of this achievement . And Neighborhood is pretty much impossible, at least for me.
Awesome idea! Must try that over the summer or something... Started Ep2 again recently but its been somewhat neglected of late.
I've planned with a few mates when Ep3/HL3 is released that we're going to do a marathon Half-Life runthrough. Half Life -> Opposing force -> Half Life 2 -> Episode 1 -> Episode 2 -> Ep3/HL3. Should only take a weekend Did a fair few speed runs of HL1, can get to Zen in less than 3 hours.
No Blue Shift? Personally, I've always wanted to go back and play Half-Life: Decay - the Dreamcast only, co-op only expansion that cast you as two other scientists. Was supposed to be quite good and, IIRC, a mod remake showed up for PC a while ago...
Nay to Blue Shift sadly, just... just didn't really enjoy it. Also, the Half Life run, will more than likely not include Zen.
Same here! It did come out on the PS2 IIRC. The mod seems to have died though, or at least it had when I checked it about four YEARS ago .
now your making me want to replay the story. Although the achivevment i really hated was little rocket man. that was a pain.
