    just to chip in my 2 pence, i got me self a Samsung Plano 28", for around your price range, tiss a nice telly, good pic and sound. Git to fit in car though (Pug 205) so if small car, get it delivered :p

    Iv had a sharp 19" tv with front rca for ages (this was when i consoled allot so Front panel RCA was a nessecity : D ) Iv also had a panasonic and a rca for many many years (yes i know 3 tv;s maybe a little much but im a tv monger) I think its a problem of which one has the most inputs and gadgets and whatnot : )

    I'd have to say go with the Sony one mate. All stuff made by Sony is great quality at a fair price. I've had a 28" Vega for some time now - excellent crisp picture and no problems whatsoever.

    We jus got a new 28" widescreen Sony Wega (wivout the theatre) for £450 inc TV, DVD player and cabinet thingy).

    Tis a great tv and was def worth the money :D

    I've got the Sony KV28LS36U (Clicky) , it is a good set but it's not NTSC compatible (so if you're going to play any NTSC DVD's on it they'll come out black and white).
