    I went and put myself down on the priority list on sunday - haven't heard anything from apple yet :( They've been out for a month now, how have they still not caught up with demand?

    Pre-ordered mine on June 26th through Phones4u in Queensgate, Peterborough, got it in my mitts on July 17th. Three weeks of restless sleep ;) :D

    I got an email about it. You can order them online then too.

    I'm now thinking, if I went into an Apple store and bought an iPhone 4 on a 24 month contract with 3, would I get the educational discount? When I got my laptop it was 14% off and I know it differs for different products. Or is the only was to get the edu discount to buy the handset?

    I don't think you'll get EDU discount on what will already be a subsidised phone.... That said, if you don't ask, you don't get. Give them a call and see! :)

    no discount on iPhones, i've tryed getting some discount when 3GS came out, no dice :(

    anyone got any good augmented reality apps i can play around with? preferably free :D

    Yeah, I prefer without too. I keep telling my girlfriend it totally effects sensitiv....oh wait, phones bumpers. Yeah *cough* good protection on the corners, fits quite well too.

    Just got ok'd be 3, pick mine up sunday as the had a f**k up with the barcodes so couldnt let me walk out with one :/
    Tried the death grip with the demo one, no drop which is good :)

    They have here, not many tho. Also dont know if the barcode issue is just blackpool or everywhere, all they said is it'll be sorted for sunday :)

    I need a carrier unlock :(

    It makes no sense for me to buy a $200 phone and not be able to use it in India. I almost bought one when the dev-team said that a carrier unlock will be out quickly. I'm glad I've held off so far but I need a new phone!

    Grabbed one at the weekend, can make the signal bars drop with hand positioning but it makes better calls in areas my Nokia N82 had no signal than I thought possible.

    Was the previous 3GS some godlike reception phone or are people really this concerned about a few bars going up and down on the screen?

    reception on mine seems to drop off just from touching the phone.. The signal is incredibly weak in my area but it is a bit frustrating.
