hi guys, here are some more pics of additions to the maiden and bonnet. one thing is for sure now, It might be presentable but will be far from finished for the cmws2019. so the next station will be the DCMM. :-( btw, i cut the cross off the forehead and will make it again. it wasnt centered properly
a little weathering, worbla n card board, stain and paint. now i have two side crucifixes of gold and bronze. the side cages are also wethered with silvering off and a little rust too. but foirst i did some internal work and made some framers set ins for the bernstein stones.
hi everyone, uhoh, today is submittance day, oh well. here is a another update. have got some internal piping done and made the monitor carriage which i am wiring up now. flip of a switch and the moniotr flips out the front. should be done today so i can get some paint on the base. am still working on a holy water finger dipper and it turns on too, so that will be an adventure. more to come..

oops. you are right. what did i do wrong there. three times as well. well better safe than sorry i guess
you really have stunning ideas and skills , and every time your building, even if it's not the kind of mod I'd like on my desk, following your work and your threads is always an incredible adventure, where anything can "magically" take shape (the magic is your imagination and skills of course ) fantastic
Thanks Kim, for the motivating word. I love making historical, mythological and cultural organic mods. Its not being done that much. Its nice when a mod has an historical background and not just a pop fiction theme. Even though I like them too. So guys, here is another update. have made a spanish doubloun type of CPU cover and some more bronze and gold elements for the inside of the case. Not I will finish the base and they will be wedlocked after I have finished the front and top. Am trying to make something like yoke to hold the combi in the front and a rack for the top, with a function, wink wink.
I totally agree with that , and you're certainly the greatest, (if not the only one), "historical cultural and organic modder" and even if I am an "hardware addict", I dare say that hardware is almost secondary with your mods, it's the incredibly artistic and outstanding parts coming out from your hands, wraping it that I love...
I agree with Kim. Pop culture mods are generally short-lived. (and here I am with 90% of the stuff I do on the side being game release mods. ) You nailed it on the decorations on the handrails.
Yes as you both say, why should i just spring onto someone likings today or temporary trends. I make what I like. Certain comic, fiction and other popular themes are also interesting. I made for instance the Dark Knight Server, but in my own idea and never as a replica. I just like using elements of a theme. Even my IRON MAIDEN, will probably be the best looking gal under the classical IRON MAIDEN torture machine faces. Anyway, here are some more pics of the further progress. Today I did some more work on the base which holds the monitor. I stained and then sanded down the carved in planking and then airbrushed some medievel darkness into them. I also did some more work on the beer bottle inquisitor lamps which will be the four pillar corners and flicker like lamps later on. apart from that, I also started assembling some of the internal parts which are ready and the hard tubes. seeing as i can only post 10 pics at a time, more pics below.
