    lamps.jpg thx yury.
so here are a few more impressions of whats gopin on. i strted a gpu shroud, the name signs for left and right, this time, for the first time ever
in english and german, one language on each side. paying tribute to the only EISERNE JUNGFRAU (IRON MAIDEN) I have evr seen live, in Nürnberg Germany.
the cpu and ram doubloun and cover are mounted. Have also got some paint on the Inquisitor Lamps.
Oh yeah and I painted to base feet as well as gave the planking its first glaze.
    more to come tonight!

and here are some more developements. i made the gpu shroud and also started the side name signs. this time i will be giving it the german as well as the english name, one plate on each side. i first saw an IRON MAIDEN for the very first time some years ago in Nürnberg in Germany and like the german name too.

the name signs and the accompanying segments will all have leds behind the gemstones and will look like the cardinal belts of those evil men back in the day who sanctioned the use of this evil device against all they saw as heretics.

    more to come..

    thx guys, and
Yes worbla should be sponsoring me :)

Hi Guys, here are some more developments of the IRON MAIDEN.
I finally almost finsished the base pillars made of beer bottles. The anme plates are on, this time at the left open to HW side in english and the german name
DIE EISERNE JUNGFRAU, is on the bachplate side.

Thr GPU Shroud is also monuted now. The monitor lift electromech is working fine and now I can finish the front between the monitor and the combo res.
also I will finish the water loops to get the first liquid in. leds and tzhe top still must be finished. but at the moment all my concentration is on the front and top now. Then She will be lit up and fired up fior the first time.

hi guys, and thanks to BT for the update nomination. Still a bit to go here.
I started the shrine altar front part which will probably hold a real candle. :)
i decorated the face a bit and even gave her a single tear drop, that will all look great once i have paint on it. is just primed so far.

I suspect you will keep going with decorations until the contest is long over. :D The front is shaping up nicely.
    also:
It may be just because it's morning, but that looks like a lovely slice of cinnamon toast.

@Cheapskate ,,,,unfortunately it did taste like it though :)
so here its painted a bit, just need the clear glase coating tomorrow morning.

aint she beautiful, and she sheds a tear of mercy for every victim she devours :)
first silvered it off and then highlighted in gold. afetr that brown watered to get the imperfections of rust and oxidatives and weathering and aging a bit.
    not too much though.

hi guys, here are the last worklog pics. have been working like hell to get this one finished.
tonight i will also post the final pics and a very scary video before the final video, tonight.

here first, you can see the shackles with led rings i made for putting behind the crucifixes. this way the side panels can still be removed without unplugging wires. seeing as they have batteries. the ic plates are from hazard warning led lights as you can see.
also i made a trap door for under the gpu, which can be lifted to get to the psu connections. of course in the same style.

apart from that i also concocted a light sensor board for a very special function.
the whole build has red and amber leds. the red ones are software driven (AURA.) and the amber ones are sound driven and react to voices, music etc..
or they simply light up, depending on how i switch them on.

IF YOU BLOW OUT THE FRONT CANDLE (REAL CANDLE), THEN YOU ALSO BLOW OUT THE AMBER LEDS,
LIGHT THE CANDLE AGAIN AND THEY LIGHT UP AGAIN!
AND LET THERE BE DARKNESS, Said the IRON MAIDEN, and so it was! :)
apart from that i also finished the top with some rack elements and a dismountable pillory as a back cable cover.
the whole machine now has sound and you can see the sinister short video i made. will make one of the monitor extracting and the candle blowing too.
    this one is really spooky.
