So submit, we just have to post the design in this thread right, instead of PM'ing it to anyone???

I don't want to reveal my baby until the last minute.. :p

I have a question. Are we allowed to use textures as long as they are sketchup textures? Like Kevlar weave, or CF or ...

Not for this competition - maybe the next.

    @Mankz - BOO!!!
@John - I don't see why not. SU isn't very good at texture mapping though. I was going to get cheeky and post a case with rendered decal textures.:D

    Oh, and JOIN UUUUSSS!

Please excuse John from this contest as he is a$$ deep in alligators trying to get ready for Mrs John's surgery and recovery.

    Signed John's Mom.

The next one - I promise. This one I donate to, the next I try to place. I have ideas too you know. Google "Installation 05". Youse guys have seen some of the major parts, you just haven't figured out where and why and put it together. I R Obscure.

john - watching the searching begin.

holy panic batman! i didn't realise the deadline was racing towards me so soon!

ive abandoned the complexity of the third stage and will focus on the over-cooled m-itx section of my design. that and the third stage was too tall to fit with the design

Not sure if anyone already mentioned this as i'm just reading through catching up posts now but...
Why not have 2 different diameter black tubes and make top one hydraulic damped sliding so it drops down over lower part exposing all the internals for you to get at. keeps it clean looking. Great idea for a design btw :)

OK here's another one from me. It's one that you might recognise from this thread.

Still incomplete, but here's a few shots anyway:

Can you buy the parts the frame is made of? If yes, what are they called, brand etc. :D Looks awesome, plus it's buildable. :thumb:

Well, I've got to the stage where I just can't think of anything else to do, so I'm calling it a case and entering it :)

I would like to thank the numerous creators of components I have used. (I won't list them because there names have escaped me :p)

Trust me, I've been looking. I would have built it long ago of I could find it. There's a thread all about it in my post above, but it died :(

    Thanks for the comments!
