Oops I'm sorry but I didn't notice the bug in the generator when using AM/PM time mode.
Here fixed it: Time until deadline!

Wow Dark that is beautiful. Where do you get all the build ideas from?

    Fixed...

I think we should be flexible about the GMT time. I know it f*cked me over last time.
How about Noon April 1st according to the member's planetary location? (BTW, I'm posting from Hawaii this week.:D)

Penguin 3.0 - Final Pictures (as they will ever be)

Here is my final design, didnt have much time to complete it but hey im lazy.
If your wondering i didnt really have a theme, (apart from spiky) and just wanted to shy away from the standard box with stuff in it.

So i introduce to you the Penguin v3.0

The two modes closed and open, the motherboard tray rises up from the weight of the bottom section (which acts as a foot when open), and locks in place when closed.

I did actually spend about 5- 9 hours designing a mechanism that enables this to happen (which is infact the tube that everything is attached to.

I will post up some better pics tommorow if i have time before the competition is closed officially

Congrats every one that made it, and everyone's designs look great.

    Edit:
Right now that I'm not nearly asleep, and as i have technically alreay finished the case before the deadline i have got some much better screen shots for you guys....

Case without components (the whole point of the competition tbh just the case)

Finally the HDD detail from the front showing the signature of the case

I feel better now that i have put up some much better screen shots of the case (although i still think scooby should be disqualified)

Yea it is absolutly massive, basically I didn't really put any scale in it to start with to designed everything, then imported a mobo and was like WTF!

I have grown to like it's inordinate size, it won't fit on many desks that's for sure.

    @rowi4kicks

Very nice. To me it has a sort of Halo Forerunner feel about it. Especiall when folded up.

Ok here's my entry. I have no name for it. I'm not briliant at sketchup or designing in general.

Without further ado, Here are the pictures.

If you need better pics or the sketchup file just ask and I can sort it.

    Good Luck to everyone else.

    Bradders.

Edit: Didn't have time to learn to create WC tubes and then add them to this.
