So here is my design. I didn't have time to get the lightning right but these are screenshots. I used Rhino.

First off I would like to thank the sponsers MNPCTech as well as Xtrafresh and Bill for having another creative and successful competition. You guys ROCK!!!!!

Thanks also goes to Jez and the SketchUp Components Collection site for all the components we all used in one way or another. Saved us a lot of time and it helped complete our masterpieces...thanks bro! BTW ma-halo to "Marci" for his ThermoChill PA120.2 Series Radiator and "Unknown" for his Optical Drive. The rest of my model was all custom. Oh the Corsair Dominator-GT ram you see on my mobo is now available at SCC site.

@rowin4kicks, Thanks vote the vote of confidence but the competition is not over yet.


This design fortunately came together very quick and was a whole lot of fun doing...but I'm getting a little ahead of myself here. The write-up on the model as well as more pics coming soon.

Also do we have a limit on pictures still?

In the first post of this thread it says we can have 1 main pic and 4 others, but I already see many with more than that. So what is it going to be?

Oh no, I really don't have time to create some welcome page this weekend. I need hours for that with my sucky English... Well, it wasn't about winning anyway, right?

Aterius, you can also just upload the pictures. Your case is strong enough to attract a fair amount of votes on its own

 

i havnt got my design finished
but i could add a bit of colour and enter that. ill just see what it looks like.

 

good luck to everyone!! think im going to refine my original design, and start up on another idea. couple of them actually. id love to see a top loader dvd sff case, and am thinking of an adjustable tower design thatll allow you adjust the height of the tower just by sliding the top half of it up or down, and it having modular parts so you can add/subtract hdd/cd-dvd drive bays.
