    A full moon before the snow started to melt. The larger picture shows more detail around the craters.

    The camera is a Canon 1DsM3 with a EF 800mm lens. A sturdy tripod with pan and tilt locking knobs helps keep it in place or move it around. The picture is a 25.6% crop or 2714 x 1984 reduced in half and converted to a jpg.

    My old Canon 40D had AI-SERVO tracking issues and the cropped sensor made it impossible to photograph birds in flight. I bought the lens to take pictures of wildlife.
