    Hey y'all

We all get stressed at some point or another with out pride and joys (PC's!!), and after seeing the new BBCi advert, It intregued me. After all, there was that man that put a few bullets through the CPU cos he got pissed off.. so I was wondering what you lot have done to your PC's when you hit the breaking point!

I usually kick it if I'm really stressed. I have a very bad temper :)grr:), but I've never damaged anything on it, only defaced a few DVD drives..

Anyway.. whats the most violent thing you've done?

i don't really like destroying my pooter.. so the worst i've done to it was to break a mouse by throwing it at the crt ;)

worst i've done in the rest of the house is to punch a fairly large (2foot by 1foot) hole in a wall... theere are some fist imprints in other areas of wall too :p

I throw diskettes when they die. DIskettes suck.. I have lost many files because of them.

I wish they would just die already and be replaced by something useful.

Usually the keyboard is the victim of my violence, being the cheapest and most easily replaced bit of my computer that I can lash out at. Now I've got my laptop, I have to restrain myself though.

Aside from the general abuse of the keyboard and mouse it'd have to be whipping coasters... errr...CDR's across the room when a burn doesn't quite go the way i wanted...

BTW they WILL stick firmly into sheetrock walls... had to patch and repaint a couple nice 3-5" wide indentations now

most times when i am mad i yell at the computer pretending that it will hear me. and no, i am not psycho ;) but the worst i have done is to pound the monitor against the wall behind it, that wasnt too smart, that and my keyboard is often subjected to a lot of abuse. luckily i havent broken anything valueable yet (knocks on wood).

(not me) but my little sister "cleaned" a keyboard by pouring a full can of pepsi over it (man, did the brand new 386 love that :hehe: ).

I personaly pound the Ctrl-Alt-Del keys until the keyboard starts screaming for mercy

    The enlightened :D :worried:
I'm using linux myself. Mainly I just like to razz on MS. The only thing I've liked that they make
is the Alt+D feature in IE (takes you to the url window).

During a late night drawing session, I spilled a bottle of cream soda into the $10 keyboard. The "t", "m", "a", and shift keys stick. Pounding it helps. As far as violent goes, I don't really do anything to scratch the paintjob. I do, however, enjoy peeling off sectors of CD-R foil with an x-acto blade though.

lol! Vivid you crazy mofo! :D

I'd never do anything to harm my main rig, but i've thrown a old box out the door once and it still worked when I brought it back in :D

Ive also seen one of my mate's slamming the monitor back against the wall behind it, making a dent and knocking the pictures off the other side of the wall.

Another mate goes through like 5 CD-Rom drives a year because he punches the tray in, but he's stopped breaking them now cos he's got a slot dvd drive :)
