I sometimes punch my monitor when I'm really angry. But it damages me a whole lot more than the computer. Also sometimes I slam my fists against the keyboard but never with enough force to break it. I have a rule, never let anger make you do stuff you'll later regret.....
Well, my PC works fine and I've never done anything to it, but I chucked my dads fax machine out the window in the middle of the night once ... It was one of those f***ed up pices of **** that use normal printer paper and a roll of coal paper. Anyway, if either is used up it goes BEEEEEPP !!! every f***ing 2 seconds so I lost my temper at 3 o'clock in the morning ... if that counts Cheers [DE]FreD_S
I ripped headfones off my head and threw them across the room where they shattered into pieces... this was because windows decided to lock my game up That's the worst, I swear. I would never touch my poor defenceless PC.... not defenceless for long MWUHAHHAHA
RESURECTION!!! I once threw an older file server I had out the window. It was that or the 3 day old PC that kept BSOD-ing me. I chose the older one.
My little tiny 56k modem used to just "hang" mid-QTF matches so I used to shout at it and threaten to slam my fist down on the top of it Sometimes just the words did the trick Somtimes I battered hell out of that tiny modem.
I've never taken anything out on my computer really. Given the monitor a good shake a couple of times but that's all. I punched my wall in anger once. Of course, my room's in the loft conversion and being a fairly old house there are some big (8"x8" I think) beams supporting the roof. Which bit did I choose to punch? Managed to tear the ligaments in my wrist, couldn't write for over a month and it's still weak now 2 years on. Kind of wish I'd smacked my keyboard like everyone else
Ive thrown my phone around quite a lot when my gf hung up.. and its left a nasty hole in the wall.... hopefully my dad wont see it till i move out.. Besides that i just pound my keyboard when i loose a race in say NFS.. just pisses me off to loose a race when i clearly won it
Wow...some 2-3 year thread resurections goin on right now Anyhoo, the most violent thing I've ever done has just been to hit the PSU's off switch, guess I don't get as mad as some people
when i was younger i used to hit the side of the case. nothing like beating a 486DX case. there wasnt a hope in hell i was going to damage that with the ammount of metal shielding it had in it (damm thing weighed a ton!!!). Nowadays i dont hit anything as im afraid ill break it (not a sturdy as they used to be syndrome). Swaring REALY loud does the trick, and gets a few laughs out of the house mates too.
I hit it while it was burning a CD and that borked the drive. Since then, I've just resorted to shouting abuse and casually swearing at it
word,the keyboard is theeee junk. In the old days I kicked my screen but now when I have an lcd, no can do I also used to bang my mouse in the wall, but now I have a G7 so I wouldnt dare to hurt it
