Measured 14" on the table and railing at 1 PM and weatherman says not 1/2 way over yet.

 

My god, we don't even have snow in Canada yet!

(I'm from Russia originally...That's where my nickname comes from) But yeah....I love snow!!!!!!! Too bad that it's not snowing here, but on the other side...it's HOT here

Biggest single snow storm since Marilyn and came here in 1980 that I can remember is 39" - 1 meter in one continuous snowfall. We get more than that in some weeks but that's like 3 or 4 different snow falls not one big one.

Wow. I've never been in snow in my entire life. That looks almost alien

 

Snow is most beautiful when its falling and when it sets and when you play with it.

 

That white deck fence is 4 feet tall. Snows piling up. Wind keeps rearranging the snow.

 

I can still see porch. It's not done yet.
I was just out in the rain here. It's warm and pleasant.

We have a history of about 6 out of 10 Halloween eves as snowy or rainy.

The tiny dog gets a little help from the blind diabetic Black Lab. Lady Grand makes a good ice breaker for the puppy!

Feck but I miss the snows of Finland. Maybe not the -32 degrees 4 hour sentry duty, but the snow was always good. Better than the muck-brown winters here in South-east Ireland accompanied by all the rain.

Cannot wait to see the end of this project J.

 

I love that photo. It reminded me of shoveling snow trenches for our 13" Beagle..lol

 

We let the Lab do the hard work. Whole back yard looks like a big mouse maze with all the paths.
