Great Job - the case looks great! :dremel:

Actually, I don’t mind doing the same thing that Ferry did on his i-spider. Could you post the link to the break cables that you found? I have had trouble finding them - maybe I could use your link to find something in my area of the world. If anyone has links to similar items, please post them as well. I would like to use them on my 'Nostromo Blackbox'. Thanks

try "brake cable" - as the correct spelling of break/brake is important for the context :p

    :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:

sorry guys, you know my english is not good. of course i mean brake cable not "break" sorry

@bootupbuddha: if you have a bike you have already those "brake cables" !!!
Look at the black "brake cables" on your bike!!!?
These are the cables "ferry" use!! You find what you are searching for under the isolation!
You only have to remove the black isloation! :thumb:

link to it: (remember to remove the isolation!!!)

One question: Should I use silver Carbon or normal Carbon for the interior?

    thanks.

    hello to all:

A discussion forum is a communication platform and a place for the change of thoughts and experiences and not a place for monologues. Since I post the question (see above)over 200 people had read the thread and nobody has made a proposal. :(

silver carbon . . . contrasts with the exterior and maybe it will make it look less empty

    hello again,

today I received my carbon(normal and memory carbon, Carbon-tubes)
I´m dissapointed about the Carbon-tubes but, mhh lets see what I can do with them, maybe I will join them together with the famous "Brake cables"! :)

    hi,

I have done some job on the stealth bezels. The led´s of the bezels were provided with energy of batteries. Now I have made it with point contacts.
When the drives open, the led´s go off.... when they close the led´s go on.

(The led´s look different because they have different(some are brighter) voltage, but that´s a problem for 5 minutes....)

The drives close without problems! (2 hours work....)

One pic of the bottom of my case(never posted a pic before)

Then i´ve made a new fitting for my glcd.

    (GLCD 320*240)

Here I had to file the right border of the glcd because it didn´t fit between the two aluminium borders(that i have done 6 months ago....but never posted a pic) That was risk i can tell you!!!!!

    The new fitting

mounted on the glcd without 2 holes! i´ve made them later, no pic... look at the red arrows, there I´ve made the holes... drilled through the glcd... risk... it´s all ok

one pic mounted on the case...

    Hi,

i´ve mounted Carbon. More to come...

Memory Carbon: to form it, i had to make it about 150-170 degree (Celsius) hot(heat gun) and form it.(only with gloves!).
I have to remove the fatty fingerprints...

    i have a problem.

The 120mm fan looks a little bit out of place. I think it would be better if the transparent was silver or black???
    ???
but on the other hand it looks very good when the lights are on. The tranparent is completely lighted blue....(sorry no pic... ******** digicam...)

    Any proposals?

Excuse me, can you please tell me what that radiator is. Some day when i have the money i want ill do a mega-watercooling project with few of those :). S-E-X-Y.

As a original stacker owner (watercooled) im getting some nice ideas here. Btw, just the hell of it, install the mobo tray on the other side 'BTX-style' ... its allways a something people dont see every day.

And ofc, with watercooling if you are doing CPU only, its a safe measure... possible malfunction around CPU area dont 100% sure kill your graphics card too :).

Have aquatube myself, but have hard time getting it work properly in the front panel, too much flow from my pump causes coolant to bubble, the aquatube is bit too tight lines for my liking anyways. Soo.. gotta put that aquatube to my other case idea. ;)
