Not drinking now but earlier I tried a few different beers that I had picked up at the LCBO. Sadly, I didn't enjoy any of the 3.

I tried a Guinness and it was super cold, but I just couldn't drink it. Had a few sips and that was enough. The second was a Hops & Robbers Indian Pale Ale, it was a "strong beer" at 5.7% and it was not enjoyable. Only had a sip or two and put it down. The 3rd beer was equally as bad, if not worse, and it was Dead Elephant Indian Pale Ale. It was also a strong beer at 6.8%. Guinness was the best of the three, but not my taste. The other two had terrible after-tastes, so clearly I'll stick to my regular beer from now on.

I'm taking a measure of my Auntie's 2011 damson liqueur. I have no idea if it'll do anything positive for my bad throat, but bad throat and all, it's damn good stuff!

I have water. There is a convenience store near my house though that sells both cherry and vanilla coke, might have to pay it a visit!

Blossom Hill fruity white wine. Wrong for the steak & onion pie I'm having at the moment, but it's all I have... Also not good for my aim in BF3 :hehe:

Milk. Whole milk. I'm not allowed drinks without calories. No lie.

(Also not allowed alcohol, much by refined sugars, supposed to avoid carbonation if possible, the list goes on. I'm missing part of my digestive tract and I have what is classified as a wasting disease. I have a nutritionist AND a gastroenterologist to yell at me, and my pills specifically forbid some stuff.)

True story, my surrogate father had an Irish wake, and everyone involved was supposed to take a shot of Crown (it was one of his final wishes, and I was there to hear it from the man's lips.) The only alcohol at that point I had ever tasted was communion wine, and I did the shot of Crown. Revolting stuff, and I did it on pills that strictly contraindicate any alcohol, and I found out why. I never did find out how much is supposed to make you "drunk" or even "buzzed"-there was no change I could note except for the blistering rash and violent vomiting for three days like my pills promised me there would be. i'm thinking my tolerances with drugs may possibly carry over to alcohol. Not interested in ever finding out.

Nothing at the moment, but tonight I'll be at a local beer festival, so plenty of ale will be consumed then. Really looking forward to it at the moment, as it's been a couple of years since I last went down there

Got a coors light. Going to the bar with some friends in a bit, figured I'd get a few in me beforehand. I'll probably grab me a pitcher of MDG when I get there.
