I don't think it will pose much of a problem, apart from maybe the first couple of races, hopefully there will be some more sliding it around corners, but Lewis manages to do that even with TC.

The wet races should be amazing though, completely different kettle of fish.

And I guess the starts are going to be interesting as well. Hopefully there will be some proper big spins and people lighting up the tires to recover, I really miss that. F1 has been so dull in the past few years.:waah:

That is why I expect full on drift-racing from Lewis this season. :D

No, I want him to show how rubbish Fissi been at Renault for the past few years. Hopefully Alonso will be back to his chirpy self being back with a team he is used to.

I'm actually hoping Webber smacks him one.

I chose Webber because aussies can get away with that kinda thing.vg

But in all seriousness, it would be good to see him getting in the mix, but I'd preffer to see him get his ass handed to him on a plate.

I don't deny that he's incredibly talented, but he has to be the most unlikeable world champion there has been since I've been alive.

Sure everyone moaned about schumi but people still respected him. I don't think many people actually respect alonso, do they?

I have to disagree, the UK media have really put bad light on Alonso. I don't recall anyone not liking him until Hamilton turned up on the scene.

It just brought out his bad side and showed him for what he really is, he has bad sportsmanship and has no loyality but to himself. Good luck to him if it all goes well at Renault. But if his team mate performs better than him, well I feel for Renault and the guy when Alonso gets dirty again.

So you think he's going to whinge less this season then?

Ah - 4 wheel drifting... something that's been sadly lacking from the sport for far too long. Bring it on! :D (Hey - I still miss the sparks from the titanium skid blocks :))

I see Lewis has been pretty quick in testing today. And I've also noticed from the testing pics that the McLaren was sporting frisbees on the front wheel - be careful lads... Ferrari use those. Remember what happened last year :)

I love the results from the weekend's testing - Hamilton, Raikkonen, Schumacher. Amazing how an unfit, "retired" driver can still manage to best the rest of the guys in the field... :hehe:

I'm desperately hoping for rain when I'm at Spa - non-TC'd cars + wetness would be really fun. Last year in... uhm... Hungary? Was seriously funny with all the aquaplaning.

A few of the other teams have been trialling that aero addon as well, From watching some of the video of the latest test the McLaren is starting to look like it did at the end of the 90's/early 00's with the way it just dances around the corners seemingly in complete control of itself.

Schumie is tipping Rosberg as the dark horse this year.

Force India is being impressive at the Barcelona test recently. Sutil could finally be able to prove himself...

Toyota is at the back of the field once again, even behind Honda. If they don't get their act together, surely their programme will be axed.

Better map of the circuit here:

    http://www.singaporegp.sg/track_info.html

I see they still have the circuit going underneath the viewing stand near the floating platform (It's used for Singapore's National day celebration normally). Having sat in that stand, and seen the roadway leading along the front and the 'tunnel' that the road takes under the stand, it's going to be pretty tight. Definitely not an overtaking opportunity :)

Earth SG have visualised the track here:

    http://www.earthsg.com/index.php?option=com_esg&act=mups&task=list&cid=38

BTW Zytek - Your AV, title and location does not compute! However, it does show taste. How anyone could like those horrible noisy yellow cars is beyond me... ;)

That looks like it could be a really interesting race, nice long laps and a good mix of fast and slow corners.

Maybe, but I don't see the point of holding it at night if the track is going to be fully floodlit.
