I don't know why, but I don't really like the RB liveries... It always looks fussy somehow, yet the base colour manages to hide all the shapeliness imo.

The Lotus looks damn good, although it won't look as nice once some sponsors get their crap all over it.

I just dont get the appeal of BRG, you may as well paint the thing tweed. BRG and blue is an awful colour scheme.

Good God Jense, it's the right hand pedal...

I know it's a bit greasy out there, but come on. Give it some and show us that you've got some speed! :D

Because it's traditional? Don't forget, Bugatti's are Blue, Alfa's are Red & Mercs are Silver

Tweed paint... Hmmmm - I wonder what that would look like on the Sportster? :hehe:

09:59 Button is fastest right now, lapping in 1m28.879s last time around.
    McLaren running monitoring...
"Given the limited amount of testing that teams have been permitted over the past two seasons, as a team we feel it's necessary to put as much emphasis as we possibly can on accurately measuring the flow structures we encounter at the track so that we can match them to the flow structures we are able to simulate in CFD and the windtunnel back at the factory."
...and also saying that there's no need to be alarmed.
As I stated earlier: I'm really interested in the bits that happen on Day 2 testing for various drivers. Day one is still a LOT of tweaking, unknown everything, really.
Day 2 the drivers should try to put up some speed, really.

    That's McLaren's cover story, Monitoring.

The gear is actually a laser designator pod for the McLaren to Mercedes missle system. :)

    How wet the paddock is:

As for the McLaren polearm - They took it off after Button's first few laps... Ever since then it's been wet. Can't imagine that being good for the balance of the car either, what with it being only on the one side of the car and all...

The VR01's nose is more sculpted than i first thought.

Front wing still seems simple compared to others.
and from what i read the front doesn't seem to be the hard part to control, though... ;)

Is there any footage of the cars in action yet? Pictures are nice, but I really want to see them moving :p

    try youtube.
There were some for a bit. Not sure if there still are. search for "2010 testing" probably.
if you find any, that'll be Valencia or Jerez testing, obviously

With the rain playing against everything yesterday, today might be a bit dryer.
Virgin Racing is planning to run more laps today, after Glock stated that he felt the few laps were "encouraging".
Webber is happy with the RB6, stating that it's impossible to see anything from the leaderboards.
Rosberg is apparently substantially happier this time round than last time, where his low seating and "not all set up" ruined it for him. His laptimes, even in the wet, were rather quick yesterday. But today Big Schu is set to take to the track.
Other than that, i hope McLaren gets in a few good flying laps, and Button gets up to speed.

It's gonna be interesting, and hopefully dryer today than yesterday, even though the weatherman said there might be more rain today, with it becoming rather wet tomorrow and possibly Saturday as well...

Live timing/commentary HERE, when it starts, which should be in about 45 minutes, unless my time calculation is all wrong

Ok - I'm officially worried now. Webber in low 1:26's, Button in mid 1:33's. Has Jenson decided to wear his lead race-suit to the tests? He hasn't even got the rain to blame today.

Track was rather wet when Button set that, GOO.
Buemi is leading the board right now, followed by Webber close by.

Alonso is 2 seconds behind as well, in wetter conditions.
wouldn't read too much into it... Even Big Schu in a Merc that's probably rather quick (judging by Rosberg's times yesterday) is way down.
