Blame Top Gear for that one... :p
Same as "The Fezz" or "Fezza" that Bindi or Joe once commented on....

    Mid 1:21 from Button. That's better! :)

Still a second of Buemi though. Hopefully he's got half a tank of fuel, and he'll start going quicker. :thumb:

    LOL
I reckon (pure speculation) that Buemi was running rather light there.

Edit: I see Schu is catching up now

    Whatever can be said, though:
VR01 looks slow and unreliable (provided that the debris is from them)
    RB6 looks competitive
    Merc looks good
    McLaren looks good
    STR is looking surprisingly fit
    Renault is hard to say
    Sauber as well
    and Williams too...

Don't forget that the VR-01 hasn't been out for a couple of hours, the track is much faster now than then.

That's true... Even though "an oversteery lap" from yesterdays commentary didn't sound too promising. We'll see, though... I am sure they'll get there... maybe not by Race 1, but at least they'll pitch then.
Glock has fewest laps as well, by a good bit.
I am sure climbing into a new car that's pretty much bound to be completely different is not easy.
Schumacher has the most laps so far...

Plenty of time left - there'll be rafts of tweaks and settings changes to come. I bet the cars feel totally different after each test.

It's a concept proposed for Indy Cars, AFAIK. Read about it on Autoblog this morning, GOO

Hmmm. Looks good for going in a straight line, and that's about it.

He's the Biggest Schu. Walking down the high street earlier, and even homeless people were rooting for him!

Looks pretty wicked to me - especially if their claims about the wake turbulence are true.

Not really something that'd work for F1 though.

If IndyCar actually go with that design, I'll watch it in 2012 to see what they are like.

I'm getting more and more excited about this season now... My hopes for some close racing at the front are gradually getting higher and higher.

Anyone decided on their GP for this year? I'm going to Monza, driving across the Alps first too. :D

[edit] VR are giving up for today, bit of a poor showing for them, but even so a few laps will help immensely. Front wing mounts aren't good enough... Better working that out now than 1st practice in Bahrain.

You're really routing for VR, aren't you? Whatever happened to that Lancashire / Yorkshire rivalry... ;)

I have to say that not having the parts to replace a front wing at testing really shows the bargin basement budgets the new teams are / will be running with. That or a real lack of foresight.

We won the war, as far as I'm concerned the rivalry is finished tbh. We're just better. :D

Depends which bits fell off though, I'm sure the big teams will have all the necessary bits but what about Force India/Sauber?

Either way I'm kinda rooting for VR - they are a plucky underdog after all. I'm hoping they'll be kicking USF1's arse anyway.

    I suppose being a midlander you'll be nursing a semi for LotusF1? :D

Virgin is my underdog of choice but in all reality it's everyone except Campos, USF1, Ferrari & Renault.
