Love Hamilton's approach to Q2. Go out at start, set a awesome time in one lap and then sit in the pit for the remainder as only 2 people manage to go faster than you (and only by the tiniest of margins as well).

Certainly an interesting thing with Button's strategy for this weekend and I hope it works out for him.

Yeah his Qualifying pace will have suffered with just how extreme his setup was so he should breeze the race proper barring a Ferrari fan/employee shooting out his tyre with a rifle and the stewards deeming it a racing incident.

It all depends on the first corner, If button can get a good start and stay out of trouble then I think he will be able to hold on. With his set up tho he could get sucked up by one or two cars at the start and this circuit is notorious for first cornor incident. Its gonna be worse with the new kerbs too.

Such a silly mistake by Hamilton, disappointed that he didn't try to back off sooner and make a move later

    Haha, Hammy's kaput. :D

Webber disappointed me, and now he has to contend with that lunatic, Vettel.

Alonso finally seems to be ripping it up. Hope he takes Button.

It'll be on iPlayer within a few minutes.

It's not Super-License revocation-worthy (such as Ide's chaos in Imola a few years ago) but it was somewhat unsporting...

In short, Yamamoto slipped up and crossed the chicane - instead of letting Webber through (Webber was probably close enough for this to be a requirement) he sped up, giving himself an advantage. This meant that he actually profited from his mistake - a bit stupid - he went on to hold Webber up over subsequent laps. IMO the stewards should put those big foam barriers there - or at least a few rumble pads.

Yeah. Webber was very upset in the post-race interview. I'm sort of glad Eddie didn't catch him - he would've squeezed some venomous, cringe-worthy sound bite out of him. He's a malicious bas***d, isn't he?

Yamamoto got in the way of Jenson and Fannylonso around half race distance, then tried to take the radio engineer for a pillion, then was there in the braking zone for Jenson as Fanny came out of the pits. And if it wasn't for Glock' penalty and Kobyashi starting from the pitlane Yamamoto would have been last AGAIN!
