Watched Inception on Bluray over Christmas and enjoyed it a lot more than what I did originally in the cinema. The suspense it builds up over the last 30 minutes is fantastic, the concept is interesting and SFX are great.

Just come back from watching Tron: Legacy.

I haven't seen the original (I know, I feel shame) but it was immensely enjoyable all the same.

I want a light bike/plane. I also want Olivia Wilde.

    8/10

    Megashark Vs. Crocosaurus.

There are no words for this film, nor any scale to aptly demonstrate how bad it is.

    Just watched Splice.

    8/10

It's original, calm, well done, the characters are cool, and the effects are very believable. Nice film, go see it!

    just watched Despicable Me

    8/10

not the most clever of films but my cheeks were hurting at the end from smiling/laughing all the way through.

Has rape in it. Do not like. I can't deny it being original though.

    MacGruber

    6.5/10

Seems like it was trying to be a loaded gun/ hotshots type movie parodying McGyver obviously, but it just didnt quite pull it off as well as it could have. There were a lot of genuine LOl moments though; human shield & sex scene both had me in stitches. Worth seeing, but not a truelly memorable movie really.

    Into the wild
Hadn't seen this one for some odd reason. Fantastic movie, although I wouldn't have minded if it was a bit longer.

I'm watching Dances with Wolves on iPlayer, half way through it. I'll post back with how it is when it's finished in 17 hours.

A B grade film, but doesn't pretend to be other than that.

Also saw Tron 2 again today. Still love it.

    8/10s, except the last 10 minutes of Pt3, which gets a 5.

Just saw Tangled. On one hand it was pretty funny, on the other it was a kids movie ( even by Disney standards ) Not much suspense. However, the kids liked it ( and were shut up through most of it )

Saw Tron for the second time. This time in IMAX 3D. I like the movie but the 3d is just aggravating. Lots of eye rubbing and headaches.

    Tron 2 : Legacy 7/10

Managed to see this yesterday at the BFI IMAX. Good re-imagining of the original, great visuals, but let down by a limp writing. Love the new light cycles though

There's a bunch of Sunshine related comments on the first couple pages of this thread for anyone interested.

Just watched The Fighter, Christian Bale had me convinced that he had grown up in Long Island..
And also that he smokes crack.

Mark Wahlberg was weak in comparison, still a good movie though. The discussions that the mom and the sisters have are amazing.

    8/10?

Seen "The Tourist" at the cinema last night.

4/10, ... nothing special, not my type of film, Long boring story with a few funny scenes.
