    Gran Torino...

10/10, such an awesome film, can't pinpoint what was amazing about it. It just was.

    King's Speech - 10/10

Didn't know much about the film going in, was a little sceptical but given the Oscar nominations for Firth I thought i'd give it a go. Made me well up in a couple of places, though i tend to cry quite often in films :p (I'm just in touch with my feminin side). Awesome, has to be said. Go see it. Now.

Just watched Cast Away on Sky with Tom Hanks, one the best if not the best Hollywood actors of all time. All his films are just pure class

The Social Network. Good film. Pretty interesting considering it's based on a true story.

Are you sure? Any possible 'reward' you'll get for going to see it will be for nothing, when you've committed suicide with a hastily sharpened plastic ice cream spoon in the first 5 minutes of the film... ;)

I know this film has been done a few times already in this thread but I feel that the ratings were too good!

    Title: Green Hornet
    Rating: 5/10
(Brief) Reasons: The film was incredibly lame, Seth Rogen is a terrible actor and he brought the whole film down with him. The only good thing was Kato played by Jay Chou, who is actually a Chinese pop-star and even with bad English he still acted better than Seth!

Dragging her to see the movie is going to be worth it! I really want to know more about how Justin reached popstar status from nothing, it's an inspirational story!

Seth's acting wasn't bad, he played the whole 'rich asshole' type pretty well IMO. His annoying yell was what ruined it for me..

    Avatar: The Last Airbender
7/10 - I Liked it. Acting is atrocious but I liked the storyline. Think James Camerons avatar done for about 20 pence.

    The Sorcerers Apprentice
8/10 - Nicolas Cage plays a great role and the film works for me. Great "It's not magic its physics" idea.

Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader
    8/10

Took the kids (6 & 3) - ideal film for us. Enough in it that they understand, but 'grown-up' enough for Mrs & I to enjoy. Can't remember the books, so no idea how faithful to the original story they are.

I watched the first CoN and it was alright, should go buy the 2nd one and wait for 3rd to be released.

I finally got around to watching the new james bond in blu-ray. I was distracted by homework but from what I recall from mostly listening it was alright. Think I'll have to give it a proper watch when I have time.

It's Kind of a Funny Story

    1-2/10

It's kind of a shitty film (see what I did there?). Pretty generic story about a generic sixteen year old boy who thinks his life is ****, contemplates suicide, checks in to a clinic, and after a week of hugs and happy music he's suddenly all better. That said, I suppose it is believable that a week with seriously mentally ill people the little toe rags life didn't seem to be that bad - Which from what we're told as viewers, it's not.

Everybody but the main character acted well (Especially Bobby).

IMO, the only reprieve was Emma Roberts. She's cute.
