Don't forgot one of the most incredibly useful mods of all: Extra Hotkeys (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3865).

With this, you can *easily* assign as many as 40 hotkeys (F1, F2, Alt-X, etc) to equipment or other. Just hit F1 to drink a potion, Alt-X to switch to your bow, etc.

Be done with that onerous Q favorites menu, completely killing the flow of the game.

Could someone advise me please, as to whether all the mods suggested by the authour, are still compatible after installing the latest 1.6 patch ?

I intend to reinstall Skyrim + patches + HD DLC.... then install all the modes here using Workshop.

Will this work ok, and will my old Gameave still be useable ?

    Thnx in advance.

They are irrelevant. So long as they do as they are told once a week all other interactions are superfluous.

They have improved the game massively for me, the new texture pack and the other bits make it look fantastic and the whistle is a god send!

Would welcome a follow up article when a few more mods have come out, or maybe after an expansion.

I still haven't played my copy of Skyrim. Any idea when they are going to stop patching so I know it is the final version. I saw an advert for Dawnguard on tv yesterday - does this mean Skyrim is now debugged completely? What about community patches like we had for Oblivion and Fallout 3?

    Great article.

Combine lush trees and grass mods with the HD pack and some ini tweaks (ui grid and grass fade) for a truly epic graphics experience.

Definetly not debugged in fact an issue with the latest patch prevents a huge chunk of the community unofficial patch not working as any edited dialogue will refuse to play. So hopefully bethesda will fix that.
