    I use MultiNewsReader.

    (I just checked it out, and theres a new skin for it which looks much better than the old brushed metal one, quite like the one mentioned above in fact.)

    It's not bad at all, just an easier way to load widgets I spose, although I've hardly got any decent ones atm so it's just there for the sake of it :)

    It looks behaves exactly like the Mac Widget dock. Practically indistinguishable from the real thing.

    I'm just trying Samurize for the first time and I have to say, I'm really like the the amount of control it gives you. The possibilities are endless.

    I'd like to end up with my desktop looking pretty much how Pookeyhead's looks, but I'm having a few problems.

    Firstly, upon using the show desktop button, the Samurize display seems to toggle on and off ie. When I go back to the desktop after pressing it, there are no Samuize meters or anything running, whereas, if I was to minimize all my current windows individually, it would still be there.

    Also, I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide me with links to including a calendar, analogue clock and cpu load meter like that. I can't seem to find them within the program so I assume they're external programs?

    You probably won't find any of those anywhere because most of us create our whole samurize config from scratch and including the graphics as well.

    It's pretty simple, as long as you have MBM installed and configured properly.
    All you need to do then is pick the meters you want and position them wherever you want them.
