    I managed to get Vista for £50 boxed when it came out. Hunt around for educational or academic versions, assuming you're elligable (not that they checked).

    No, I'm not saying I wouldn't buy it, quite the opposite, I'm so impressed by something made by microsoft for the first time since XP came out, that I want to buy it. But I think the beta ends quite before the final version is out, I don't know what to do before the release... go back to XP?

    Exactly my concern. But as someone pointed out there'll be a beta 2 and/or rc. He'll, I'd run 7 on my touch if I could. That's how much I like it! :D
