    AlthoughI have yet to hear a B1-B Lancer I know that when we have F-15s doing training at my local airport sometimes they do a "final goodbye" which is 100 ft with full afterburners. Even through my pilot's headset they were loud.

    The F-22 Raptors aren't quiet either.

    Not so much Kaboom loud, more along the lines of shake hardened buildings on the other side of base from light-up to about 1 minute or 2 after take-off kinda loud. Definitely the loudest thing I've ever heard/felt.

    The Strike Eagle on full afterburners is plenty loud. The 117A is loud but you can't tell until it's gone by and you are deceased! Santa Claus drops laser guided bombs down your chimney and you never hear him until he leaves.

    The Lancer at airshows is to die for. Those pilots swing them around like F15s or 18s. A runway pass - even without afterburners - will encourage you to invest in ear protection.

    A SAC B-29 squad taking off about 100 to 150 feet over the Interstate is inspiring. Rapid City, SD has/had a bunch and they take off directly across Interstate 90. Puckers in your jeans.

    A couple of years back we had the South African Air Force doing an air show here (or own airforce consists of 3 prop planes, 3 Alouette II and 1 Alouette III helis).
    There was an old F1 doing afterburner boost up to about 750km/h, then hard turning, right past our house...
    holy CRAP that was loud... like zzcchhhhrrrrrrrrrBOOOOOOM - loud.
