Haha, I'm using a 15" screen as that's all I have at present. Eventually the PC will be hooked up to a 40" TV, which will be a big difference

I'm using the default Windows 7 UI, with the Start Orb as linked above. The Rainmeter skin can be found here, and I think suits everything pretty well. I was using one of the default ones before that though.

I have been meaning to sort that out, haven't been able to figure out what's causing it yet. Seeing as it's always 'mostly cloudy' here at the moment, it's something that will definitely need to be fixed.

That said I had a black background for a long while.

It's a shoop! Pity it puts the icon off-centre, if there's one thing I've got an autistic attention to detail for, it's symmetry.

It was annoying me so much that I unleashed my fearsome ms-paint skills:



It would look better if the background loop was put about 400 pixels further to the right, so it were less symmetrical (hah), but that's all the ms-paint usage I can stomach for the rest of the...year.

Ever sine I set it as my background it was bothering me that it was off centered, also that there is a open space between the task bar and the city. Rep for you good sir.

meh, i wasnt feeling the ninja one so i went with this:

 

That Tesla desktop I had earlier got boring quick... I watched Tron (again) tonight and thought I'd find a Tron related background... The image is not originally set for a background as it is in portrait; I took it into PS, resized it for height and extended the sides to fit the width.
