    What are people using to skin windows ? I used to skin xp but have no idea how to skin win 7.

    You can find many a theme on deviantart and utilise Win 7s integrated theming capabilities. Themes normally come with guides on how to install them.

    It's made up of lots of different skin packs:
    Avengers (volume meter, launchers, date)
    Avengers - Tweaked (border, shutdown, cpu meter)
    Tick Weather (weather)
    Mii System Skin 2 (RAM, NW, CPU, GPU)
    Kerrigan CPU (CPU spinner)
    Space craft (clock)
    Icons (used for the icons on the launchers)
    And the temps (top left) are a rainmeter skin I custom made myself using AIDA.
