New monitor means new wallpapers to add to the rotation - mostly because some of the earlier ones are too small...

That's the ineffable will of almighty relix. The for the win acronym always changes to cheesecake. Makes some stuff amusing like me running an EVGA 660Ti cheesecake edition

Spare laptop that I'm working chilling on all week. It's (heavily tranquillised) Vista, it's boring and it's not all that quick, but it works - old silver HP Compaq thing with max'd out RAM, CPU and a 256GB SSD :)

I bloody love those big-panel things XKCD does. That exerpt in particular cracked me up.

A very nice, completely legal torrent client you've got there, too. Did you have to do any spring cleaning before taking the screenshot, or are you one of the rare moral torrenters? :)

Moral torrernters? Rare? Haha, understatement of the century :hehe:

I mean... err... Torrenters? What's that? I don't know anything about that at all* :worried:

    *That's a Dylan Moran quote ;-)

    Unicorn, Elephant: I don't pirate.

Guesss that it's a perk of preferring FOSS applications.

Well, after my endless adventures of hate and misery with Cyberlink, I can't say that I blame you. It's just a shame that some nigh-universal platforms (like Blu-Ray) are financially shackled such that free open-source implementations can't exist :(

I think I'm going to sit down tomorrow and work on a Rainmeter theme for this laptop. I'm totally bored with it the way it is. Anyone got a suggestion for a good abstract shapes wallpaper or skin pack for me to base it on? I'm going for a clean, modern feel, almost futuristic. Just your basic program launchers, clock, calendar etc. No useless clunky stuff.
