Windows 8 has plenty of problems, but out of the box it does have some features which endear it. Like how background slideshow puts different, randomized images on all your different monitors.

I've got a slideshow of my enormous portrait photography folder now. Which, despite what's in this capture, isn't just cheesecake (there're plenty of ponderous bearded men, and a cat playing chess.

    Would that be Lake Windemere?

Looks to me like either Lake District or possibly Scotland.

How are you finding your 2560x1080 screen? I bought the Dell 29" at launch and love the res for games. I have my second screen in portrait though to make up the the lack of height.

Great for games that support it, also good for movies in 21:9.
The lack of height is not so bad, went from a 1920x1200 to this.

I'm used to having a second monitor in portrait historically so I couldn't go back. 21:9 is a nice aspect ration though, pleased with it.

I've never really made a custom widget with Rainmeter, but Conky on linux is awesome.

Just a general FYI for all those who love wallpapers; Wallbase is dead ( owner is MIA, uploads disabled, forums deleted/corrupted ), long live Wallgig
