    From Slyck News:

The RIAA's witch-hunt has been mostly shrouded in mystery, with many not knowing who or what would bring about a lawsuit. We've sifted through approximately half the users displayed on TechTV.com's website, then examined the songs those individuals were being violated on, using the EFF's database.

It seems the RIAA is targeting a wide reach of music, including Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, Rock, Pop and Country songs. Artists such as Ludacris, Michael Jackson, NAS, Busta Rhymes, Keith Sweat and Musiq were very common throughout the subpoenas.

More here along with their analysis.

So - the moral is: don't download Busta Rhymes! :D

    /me deletes 'Pass the Courvoisier'

TBH I did wonder what sort of music attracts their attention, I have a feeling with less commercial (dance type) music nobody cares since a tune is a tune, the more airplay the better as far as the small record companies are concerned, and DJs thrive on being able to freely distribute mixes of various records to showcase their talent. Now sure, if they are mixing it it means they have the record, but its still distributing music isn't it.
